About Debra
I've been in service for about 32 years. I currently work for FEMA as a reservist helping people who have lost everything after disasters. Before that I worked at FedEx as a guest service specialist. I stay passionate about going above and beyond for customers and being there for people in need. It's a calling for me.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My dad has always taught me to keep a roof over your head and keep a job. He taught me to be a hard worker.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don't give up. It's not about the age, just don't give up.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't give up. It's just a test. Everything in life is a test and you too will pass the test.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Being a female in a male-dominating field. Males say the field is not for women but I'm not letting that stop me. I can show you better than I can tell you.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Tell people the truth. Just tell the truth.
