Debranne Cingari is an internationally recognized photographer and mixed-media artist, known for creating transformative art that engages audiences and elevates spaces. Drawing inspiration from discarded objects, personal experiences, and evocative imagery, she merges photography with assemblages to craft thought-provoking pieces that explore memory, identity, and the human experience. In addition to her fine art practice, Debranne founded Bath’d in Sounds of Silence, a business that blends artistic vision with immersive sensory experiences, reflecting her commitment to engaging audiences in both visual and experiential dimensions.

Cingari’s work has been widely acclaimed and featured in juried exhibitions such as the Salmagundi Art Club Masters Exhibition and Annual Members Exhibition. Over the course of her career, she has received numerous awards, including the Philip Isenberg Award and recognition in Photographer’s Forum’s Best of Photography Annual. Her pieces, such as Moods of Mona, Tomorrow Is Just a Maybe, and The Little Words Project, exemplify her distinctive ability to fuse visual storytelling with emotional resonance, creating immersive experiences for collectors, institutions, and public spaces.

I attribute my success to my relentless curiosity, dedication, and the ability to excel across multiple artistic disciplines. By continually exploring photography, assemblage, and mixed-media art, I have been able to push creative boundaries and develop a distinctive voice that resonates with audiences. My passion for storytelling, attention to detail, and commitment to bringing transformative experiences to both galleries and commissioned spaces have allowed me to cultivate meaningful connections with collectors, collaborators, and institutions around the world.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that it’s always okay to reinvent yourself. Embracing change, exploring new directions, and allowing my creativity to evolve has been essential to my growth as an artist. Reinvention keeps my work fresh, challenges me to expand my skills, and opens doors to new opportunities I might never have imagined.
