About Deena
Deena Hernandez brings over two decades of leadership experience from her retail career at Vons to her role as founder of D's Canine Cardio, a pet care services company in San Diego, California. After feeling unfulfilled in corporate roles and drawing inspiration from her love of walking dogs and a friend's encouragement, she launched the women-owned business, which has expanded rapidly to serve over 100 clients. She balances multiple responsibilities by fostering a supportive, team-oriented environment and plans to scale further by acquiring dedicated facilities for daycare, boarding, and grooming within the next few months, followed by two additional locations in five years.
