01What do you attribute your success to?
God first and foremost because my faith is what brought me to this place. The support of my family and my AA community also.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Taking care of yourself first is the most important because if you don't have a full cup you have nothing to give. Self-care is huge.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Just do it. Don't wait till tomorrow because tomorrow never comes. Ask for help. There's resources out there. Put your heart into it.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is stigma and not enough housing or recovery homes. The opportunity is that most people in the industry really do care and collaborate to help.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value everything around me. I believe I can make a difference. Giving other people the respect and humanity that they deserve.
