Deidre Richardson
Deidre Richardson is a seasoned corporate executive, general counsel, and operational leader with over two decades of experience advising public and private companies across a range of industries including hospitality, fashion, manufacturing, restaurant, and entertainment. A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and Penn State University (MBA), she has held prominent roles such as Named Executive Officer, Chief Legal Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and Corporate Secretary. Her legal acumen spans corporate governance, M&A, securities, data privacy, IP, litigation, and ESG matters. Most recently, Deidre served in high-impact executive roles at organizations like Terminix, Chico's FAS, and Groot Hospitality, where she advised on legal and operational strategy while guiding environmental, health, and safety initiatives.
In addition to her corporate achievements, Deidre is the CEO and Principal Advisor of Good Work Together, LLC, where she helps brands drive profitability through responsibility, equity, sustainability, and transparency (R.E.S.T.) initiatives. She is also the founder of TruDaydreams, a boutique entertainment, marketing, and media law firm. A champion of social impact and diversity, Deidre advises on DEI and philanthropy efforts, and actively contributes to community development as President of the Georgetown University Alumni Club of Miami. Her multifaceted career reflects a powerful blend of legal expertise, business strategy, and a deep commitment to purpose-driven leadership.

I attribute my success to my ability to lead transformational change—whether guiding a company through a complex merger, like at Terminix, while protecting jobs and culture, or supporting leadership transitions and market expansions with clarity and purpose. I thrive at the intersection of strategy, legal insight, and people-centered leadership.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to always ask for what you want—the worst that can happen is they say no, but you’ll never know unless you try.

My advice to young women entering the industry is to speak up about your career goals, actively pursue growth opportunities, and stay open to building meaningful relationships that can help you reach the next level.
