About Delaney

I'm currently the Customer Experience and Business Development Manager at Korner Interior Solutions, where I'm running our new 20,000 square foot showroom in Dallas. My lifelong dream has been to work in a showroom, and it's really funny how it came together. I was describing to my fiancé what my dream job would be, and he said I should go find a job in a showroom. The next day, I met a guy with Korner, and he told me they were opening this massive showroom and the girl running the project just quit, so they pulled me in. I have a background in commercial construction, having worked for demolition and paint subcontractors, and I even did dumpsters, which is hilarious. I stepped in in December when they were in the middle of this big commercial project, and I've helped them get this project across the line. We are working really hard towards a mid to late July opening. My current goal is to become the national showroom manager and help set up each showroom in each location as the company looks to copy and paste these showrooms nationwide. My fiancé is a very high-level luxury residential and hospitality architect, and I've been super jealous of his life, so I really wanted to get into more design levels without necessarily getting a degree in interior design. We renovated our home, fully gutted our home in the Park Cities, and did about a full year renovation, which gave me a first-hand look at what that process looks like. People are my energy, they're like my power source, and I need to be in a very people-facing forward role.
