About Demisha

Demisha Ramirez has built her career around connecting with people. From reporting the news and working in financial services to coaching women's boxing and helping businesses navigate commercial insurance, each role has strengthened her communication skills, adaptability, and passion for serving her community.

Today, Ramirez is a Commercial Marketing Assistant with GTPS Insurance Agency, where she works alongside producers to grow the agency's commercial presence throughout Central Illinois.

She enjoys networking with local business owners, representing the agency at community events, assisting with commercial insurance submissions, and building lasting professional relationships.

A graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, Ramirez began her career as a television news reporter before transitioning into banking and financial services.

The experiences she gained throughout each chapter of her career continue to shape the way she approaches her work today.
