About Denise
I started in the field completely since 2012 after getting my bachelor's degree from University of Phoenix online while my husband was deployed. I worked as a behavioral health tech for about 4 years and loved it. I then completed my master's in professional counseling from Grand Canyon University while working full-time and raising kids. I have worked in community health and private practice settings, including being mentored for two years before getting licensed. My goal has always been private practice where I am now building my caseload as a 1099 contractor.
