Denise Deen

Denise Deen has spent a little over 21 years at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, where she has advanced through multiple roles since starting as a marketing coordinator focused on recruiting students from hospitals. Her expertise lies in admissions and recruitment, where she guides prospective students through the application process and helps them realize their academic potential. She also serves as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor, teaching classes and serving on dissertation committees since completing her doctoral degree. Prior to her time in the United States, she worked in Trinidad at a pharmaceutical company and then an educational training company, where she completed her MBA. She holds a doctoral degree, an MBA, and a master's degree, with a 20-plus year gap between her master's and doctorate, which she completed during the COVID period. Denise was nominated for a Visionary Award at the university and remains active in campus volunteering while giving back to the institution where her son is now a student.
