About Denise

I founded Savor Our City from a lifelong love of people, culture, and connection — a passion that began with my very first job working aboard Royal Caribbean cruise ships. As a second-generation native South Floridian, my roots run deep in this community, and traveling the world at an early age exposed me to diverse people, traditions, and cuisines, sparking a deep appreciation for how food and drink can bridge cultures and bring people together. That experience planted the seed for what would ultimately become both my calling and my company.


In my prior role as Marketing Manager for the largest property owner in downtown Boca Raton, I was responsible for developing and producing culinary events to draw guests to more than 100 restaurants within their portfolio — many of which took place after regular business hours. Seeing firsthand how thoughtfully designed food experiences could drive community engagement, support small businesses, and bring people together ultimately inspired me to take a leap of faith and launch Savor Our City. Today, we design interactive culinary programs nationwide for corporate groups, municipalities, hospitality partners, and cruise programs, always with a focus on celebrating local culture and supporting independent restaurants.


Giving back is at the heart of my work. Through my long-standing partnership with Wines for Humanity, I’ve had the privilege of helping raise funds for local nonprofits by delivering engaging wine tastings that educate guests while making a real impact for those in need. Philanthropy is not something I do on the side — it’s woven into how I operate both personally and professionally.


Outside of work, I’m happiest exploring new places — whether discovering hidden gems close to home or traveling internationally — and sharing great food, wine, and experiences with friends and family. I believe that life is best savored around a table, and I’m grateful every day to build a career around that belief.
