Her Story

About Denisse

My journey began with a mistaken college course that led me to study Eastern Civilization instead of Western, sparking my interest in the wider world and international business. I earned a bachelor's in International Business with minors in Human Resources and Spanish, plus an Executive Master's from Thunderbird where I was the youngest female admitted. My notable achievement was opening a market for an American company in China over three years. I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, Boise Regional Realtor recognized for ethics and leadership, Idaho District Export Council, and past FEOPSI member.

Ten minutes with Denisse

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my incredible family and support system. All the traveling and late nights required a tribe, with my parents helping with my baby and sisters helping with pickups. It really took a tribe, and having a family that 100% believed in me and supported me blindly allowed me to achieve the success I have.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Under-promise and over-deliver. My boss said if you over-promise and don't deliver, I will fire you. So I make sure to keep them steady and cool and stay pace, and when I deliver, then I can really show them who I am.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don’t expect anyone to believe or help you. That is your work to do and believe in! Do it and don’t look back. Own your choices and learn from mistakes!

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest opportunity and challenges in my field right now is the internet.

Its created many opportunities for people to find your business however it has also created a lot of impostors who may not have the same experience and intentions as my own.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Wellness above all

Family first

God is my strength
