Denisse Ruiz

I am an experienced educator and educational support professional with a background spanning early childhood instruction, language interpretation, and special education. Currently a kindergarten teacher with Kansas City Public Schools, I focus on fostering foundational learning, social-emotional growth, and classroom engagement. I have also served as a Spanish interpreter, English as a Second Language aide, and special education paraeducator in the Olathe School District, supporting diverse learners and bridging communication for students and families. My experience extends to workforce and customer service roles, where I developed strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills that enhance my teaching and student support practices.
