These roles have shaped her understanding of dynamic professionals and how to support their success. Anderson earned her undergraduate degree in communication and marketing from Lenovo, a master's degree in Organizational Development and Leadership from St. Joseph's University, and is pursuing both a master's and doctorate through the University of Pennsylvania's Chief Learning Officer program, with her doctorate defense expected in the coming months. She attributes her success to relentless determination rooted in her upbringing, support from her peers, and inspiration from her daughter, who serves as her North Star. Anderson values trusting one's intuition as the best career advice she has received.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Dennice

01What do you attribute your success to?

I am so relentlessly determined, I always find a way, and I think that is rooted in my upbringing to never quit on yourself. We can pivot, and we can take a step back and reflect, but always find a way forward. I have to give credit to my peers as well, who are a part of my village who they're able to challenge me and also provide me with words of endearment. And then I have a daughter, and she is so wise, and she is my North Star, so I want to provide her with a clear understanding of who I am and all the things that I did in order to create a successful life for the both of us.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

It's to trust yourself. Trust your intuition. If there's anything that you want to question, there's obviously a good and bad way to go about it, but think about how you want to approach a problem, a conversation, and just really trust yourself that you've got this, and that you will make the best decision at the end of the day.
