She is an aviation quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and internal audit professional with experience in FAA compliance, CASS, SMS, risk-based auditing, root cause analysis, corrective actions, data reporting, and maintenance and inflight operations oversight. She currently serves as Senior Staff Representative for Quality Assurance and Internal Audit at United Airlines. Previously, she held quality assurance and inflight regulatory compliance roles with Mesa Airlines, supporting audits, safety systems, regulatory readiness, training materials, corrective action tracking, and continuous improvement across aviation operations.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don't limit yourself because you think you can't do it. Just, if you have the skills, the titles will come.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be afraid to build your skills. Be outgoing, go places, make yourself be viewed. If you're afraid to do something, ask for help. Don't be afraid to even try. Even if you think you won't get it, just do it.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is being taken seriously as a young woman in a male-dominated field; people may not think you know how to fix a plane or do mechanics. Opportunities are endless with people retiring, hiring always happening, ability to travel the world, work from home, and fly for free.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity and honor. My work is to honor God, my family. Integrity above all, because what good is it to lie, or cheat, or take the shortcut.
