About Deronda
I am an entrepreneur, educator, and advocate with a career spanning business development, anti-human trafficking awareness, education, and human resources. I currently serve as Founder and CEO of Neşe International, LLC, a role I have held since July 2018, where I focus on public speaking, business development, and building ventures that create positive impact in the Wichita, Kansas metropolitan area and beyond.
Before founding Neşe International, I worked as an Educational Specialist at Global Portal 4 Freedom for over five years, where I became a Freedom Fighter against human trafficking. I provided awareness of this horrible industry through the successful showing of the anti-human trafficking film "8 Days," assembled a team to promote further awareness through education and public speaking, and launched a program to teach the life and vocational skills necessary for victims to create a normal life once more. I also focused on securing scholarships for education and sponsors for internships to give rescued survivors work experience when they are ready.
Earlier in my career, I served as Human Resources Administrator at World Impact Inc for one year, where I was responsible for hiring and exit personnel documentation for all employees on a nationwide scale, specializing in religious missionary order processes. I worked with payroll and benefits specialists to ensure all information and documentation was correct for new hires, digitized over thirty years of personnel and payroll files compiled from nationwide offices, ran database reports, and created standard operating procedures for each area of responsibility.
I also served as President of Global Portal Group, LLC for over six years, a business development company I launched after being asked to consult with several Turkish businesses to help launch their products in the USA. I took one company from startup through branding and tradeshow design, growing it to five hundred thousand dollars in sales in the first year, and consulted with an established company through branding and marketing for tradeshows, resulting in a twenty percent increase in revenue in the following quarter.
I am TESOL certified and taught English as a Second Language in Turkey for over four years at universities, language schools, elementary schools, and to private business clients. At a private university prep school, all of my students passed the exam and were able to continue on to their university departments. Students from the language school were able to go forward with job interviews in English successfully after failing the interview process before coming to the class, and my private students went on to give speeches in English at an industry international conference while others received wage increases at their employment due to their increased value to their companies.
Across my career in entrepreneurship, education, advocacy, and human resources, my work has been driven by a commitment to empowering individuals and communities. Whether I am building a business, teaching English, raising awareness about human trafficking, or supporting survivors on their path to recovery, I believe in creating opportunities for people to grow, thrive, and build meaningful lives.
