Desirree Daffron is a dynamic Digital Marketing Mentor based in Las Vegas, Nevada, who specializes in helping parents, particularly mothers in Hawaii, find flexible ways to earn income online. Her journey began in the hospitality industry, where she honed her customer service and communication skills at Park Shore Waikiki, Hilton Garden Inn, and the Hilton Hawaiian Village. These experiences taught her the importance of understanding client needs and delivering exceptional service, lessons she has carried into every professional endeavor since.

After transitioning into the corporate world, Desirree joined Pacific Instruments, where she excelled as a Quoting & Sourcing Specialist and later headed their marketing department. While there, she earned a certificate in Brand Management from the University of London, strengthening her expertise in brand strategy, internal communications, and creative promotion. Her passion for mentoring and empowering others grew during this time, fueling her move into full-time digital marketing.

Today, Desirree runs her own digital marketing consultancy, Dezign Your Brand, and leads the online course "Boss Sweets," helping parents leverage UGC (User-Generated Content), brand partnerships, and creator monetization to achieve financial freedom while staying present for their families. Driven by authenticity, community, and aloha, she focuses on practical strategies that allow her clients to succeed online while honoring their personal lives. Her work reflects a deep commitment to flexibility, empowerment, and meaningful impact for parents seeking alternatives to traditional 9-to-5 careers.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to being a mother. Parenthood, for me, was the catalyst that required me to take action, adapt, and find solutions that worked for both my son and me. My son is autistic, and navigating the years with him made me realize the importance of creating a path that allowed me to be present at home while still pursuing meaningful work. Being a mother left me no option to stand still—it motivated me to move forward, embrace change, and build something sustainable. That drive to create a better situation for my child has been the foundation of everything I have accomplished.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to be genuine and honest—remember, you are the niche. Focus on what makes you authentic, because audiences connect with real people. At the same time, find a way to balance your responsibilities with your ambitions; staying true to yourself while managing your priorities is key to long-term success.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge in my field is helping people see that there are alternatives to the traditional 9-to-5. Many cling to the security they’ve always known, and changing that mindset—especially for those in their 40s—is not easy. My focus is on connecting with those who are ready and helping them overcome fear, so they can explore new opportunities and create a better path forward.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me in both work and life are a family-first approach, fostering community and connection, authenticity, clear communication, and a commitment to helping others. These principles shape the way I show up, make decisions, and build relationships every day.
