Deysha Smith, MSW

Deysha Smith is a dedicated social work professional whose career is centered on helping individuals and families navigate complex healthcare and social service systems. As an Intensive Case Manager with Aetna, a CVS Health Company, she provides comprehensive care management for clients facing complex medical and behavioral health needs. Deysha collaborates with clients, families, healthcare providers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans, improve access to services, and connect individuals with the resources they need to achieve their health and wellness goals.

Deysha’s passion for advocacy is particularly focused on children and supporting young people who may face stigma, challenges, or barriers to receiving the help they need. Her professional background includes serving as New Heights Director at Williamson Health & Wellness Center and gaining experience in education through substitute teaching. She takes a holistic and compassionate approach to her work, emphasizing education, empowerment, coordination, and individualized support. Her commitment to children and families is rooted in a desire to create meaningful opportunities for people to thrive within their communities.

Deysha recently earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and Counseling at Lindsey Wilson University. Her educational journey reflects her commitment to continuous professional growth and her long-term goal of working in school psychology. She plans to pursue further graduate education in the field while working toward becoming a school psychologist, allowing her to expand her advocacy for children and mental health within schools and communities.
