Her Story
About Diana
Diana Ashworth, CCP, B.A., CPS-MH, is a transformation and empowerment coach, mentor, writer, Certified Peer Specialist, trainer, reentry advocate, Bible teacher, and disability advocate based in Kingston, Georgia. She is dedicated to helping individuals navigate adversity, rediscover their inner strength, and create meaningful lives beyond difficult circumstances. Through her work with Life After Impact, Diana provides mentorship, trauma-informed support, peer guidance, goal-setting, accountability coaching, and empowerment-focused encouragement to people seeking healing, personal growth, and a fresh start.
Diana’s commitment to this work is deeply rooted in her own experience with adversity. Following brain surgery and a stroke in 2016 that resulted in paralysis, she faced the profound challenge of rebuilding her life and redefining her sense of identity and purpose. Rather than allowing her circumstances to determine her future, Diana focused on personal development, resilience, faith, and discovering her inner strength. Her experiences with pain, recovery, disability, and repeated health challenges have shaped her compassionate, lived-experience approach to supporting others who are confronting trauma, mental health challenges, substance use, incarceration, and major life transitions.
Professionally, Diana has served in mentoring, administrative, intake, training, technical support, and nonprofit roles, including her work as an Intake Development Manager with The National Incarceration Association and as a Mentor Director and Virtual Assistant with LifeChangers Legacy, Chebar Ministries. Since 2019, she has also been involved in mentoring initiatives connected to incarcerated individuals and reentry support. Through Life After Impact, Diana transforms her personal pain into purpose by encouraging people—particularly women—to recognize that their stories are not over. Her message is centered on resilience, hope, faith, self-discovery, and the belief that people can rise from adversity, rebuild their lives, and thrive.

Ten minutes with Diana
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience, mentorship, and my passion for identity restoration and helping others overcome setbacks. Pamela Hillman, who mentored me in 2021, played an important role in my growth, and I hope to expand my speaking engagements to inspire and empower others through my experiences.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell any young woman who wants to start her own coaching business that she can do it. Don’t let circumstances, past experiences, or setbacks discourage you or define your future. Believe in yourself, identify what you are passionate about coaching, and take the steps to get started. I would be happy to support and guide her along the way.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are resilience, self-belief, service, and continuous growth. I believe in using my experience and skills to support others, whether through coaching, mentorship, or community service. My professional certifications and involvement in networking organizations have strengthened my commitment to personal development, meaningful connections, and empowering others to overcome challenges and pursue their potential.
