Ten minutes with Diana
01What do you attribute your success to?
Exceptional customer service is one of your greatest assets. Treat every client with respect, professionalism, and genuine appreciation. Be responsive, approachable, and easy to work with. Listen carefully, communicate diplomatically, and go the extra mile to deliver exactly what your client needs. Creating a great experience is just as important as delivering a great performance.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Always be yourself and lead with authenticity. People connect with real people—not robotic personalities or generic emails that feel like they've been blasted to everyone. Write the way you speak. Be genuine, be approachable, and don't be afraid to let your personality shine. A little fun goes a long way.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be willing to put in the work. Invest in your studio, your equipment, and your training—because your voice is only part of the equation. Learn the business of voiceover, because success depends just as much on running a business as it does on delivering a great performance. Do your homework before every audition or session, stay curious, and surround yourself with a supportive community. The best voice actors never stop learning.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Artificial intelligence is changing the voiceover landscape, and the industry has its share of ups and downs. But there is still plenty of opportunity for talented human voices. Clients continue to seek authentic performances, emotional connection, and the creative interpretation that only people can provide. Stay adaptable, keep honing your craft, and never stop learning. The opportunities for education and growth in this industry are endless.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Success isn't just about talent—it's about character. Be kind, generous, and willing to help others. Take pride in every project, give your best effort every time, and never settle for "good enough." Commit to becoming a little better each day, both as a voice actor and as a person. Those qualities will take you farther than talent alone.
