Diana Czarnecki serves as a Client Account Manager at Global Gig, where she delivers white-glove executive account management for clients in the information technology communications sector. Since entering the field in 1990 as a telemarketer straight out of high school, she has built a career without a college degree through hands-on experience, progressing from earlier roles at a company of 500 employees where she worked for 16 years before joining Global Gig approximately four years ago. Her expertise encompasses wireless technologies, circuits, security, point-to-point connections, SD-WAN, cloud-based services, and AI integration into operations, supporting large-scale global projects for Fortune 500 companies. She holds SD-WAN certifications and has been recognized with top sales honors in her company four times along with account management of the year awards four times, including a seven-day all-expenses-paid trip to Europe. Czarnecki credits her parents for instilling the confidence to dream big and succeed in a competitive technical field, and she emphasizes values of honesty, integrity, and follow-through in her work with customers and accounts.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Diana

01What do you attribute your success to?

My parents always said dream big and in a room of diamonds don't think you're not the diamond. They gave me the foundation and confidence to not feel lesser than others when starting in the industry fresh out of high school.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Don't give up. Keep pushing and you can do it. Belief in yourself and confidence goes a long way. Reach out for help when needed and put your ego aside.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

There's a lot of men here but we can rise above. Don't give up, you have a purpose. There are many organizations looking for bright stars and talent, and don't think that's not you.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Challenges include fast-paced growth and new technology that can be ahead of our understanding. Opportunities are the constant change and evolution, especially with AI coming on board which is a whole new opportunity we are investing in.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty, integrity, and follow through. Making sure you do what you say you'll do. That means a lot in the business world and when working with customers and accounts.
