Throughout her leadership journey within one of the nation’s largest public school systems, Dr. Loubeau has guided schools from low performance to high achievement by fostering cultures grounded in high expectations, collaboration, and shared accountability. Her commitment to inclusive education is reflected in her extensive work supporting students who are blind, visually impaired, or have special needs, alongside initiatives promoting behavior management and student mental wellness.

Driven by a passion for expanding opportunity, she launched a middle school health sciences initiative to spark early interest in medical careers and has led community-centered efforts connecting families with critical health and wellness resources. Her Interview

Ten minutes with Diana

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my faith in God and the unwavering support of those who have poured into my journey, especially GGW. I am deeply grateful for the love and strength of my mother, my sister Sophia, my daughter Jaden, my best friend Phileepo, and my brother-in-law Corey, whose encouragement has shaped both my path and purpose. Inspired by my profound love for children and grounded in my father’s lessons to never settle for average, their influence continues to guide my leadership and life’s work.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is: “Everyone can be seen, you just have to make them sharpen their lens.” It’s a reminder to help others recognize potential, both in themselves and in those around them, and to lead with insight, patience, and perspective.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women entering my industry to trust the process, stay anchored in their purpose, and remain committed to their growth and beliefs. Success comes from perseverance, clarity of values, and staying true to yourself even when challenges arise.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Balancing the demands of leadership with single motherhood while prioritizing personal wellness remains one of my greatest challenges. I embrace it as an opportunity to redefine effective leadership by modeling resilience, balance, and authenticity. My mission is to create pathways that empower individuals, develop future leaders, and help communities and organizations thrive with purpose and lasting impact.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are resilience, discipline, and gratitude, values deeply rooted in my Haitian upbringing. I prioritize family, personal responsibility, and the transformative power of education, while also recognizing that true success comes from balancing work and life and intentionally practicing self-care. Above all, I strive to lead with purpose, create space for representation, and leave a legacy of thriving rather than merely surviving.
