What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my faith in God and the incredible support and guidance of my mentors— Husband Mr. Griggs, my sister Sofia, my daughter Jaden, my best friend Phileepo, and brother in law Corey. Inspired by my love for children and motivated by my dad’s lessons to never settle for average, their influence has been invaluable throughout my career.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is: “Everyone can be seen, you just have to make them sharpen their lens.” It’s a reminder to help others recognize potential—both in themselves and in those around them—and to lead with insight, patience, and perspective.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell young women entering my industry to trust the process, stay anchored in their purpose, and remain committed to their growth and beliefs. Success comes from perseverance, clarity of values, and staying true to yourself even when challenges arise.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges I face is balancing the demands of leadership with single motherhood while also prioritizing my own wellness. I see this challenge as an opportunity to redefine what effective leadership looks like—modeling balance, resilience, and authenticity. My mission is to create pathways for Haitian women and the next generation to thrive in their pursuits.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are resilience, discipline, and gratitude—values deeply rooted in my Haitian upbringing. I prioritize family, personal responsibility, and the transformative power of education, while also recognizing that true success comes from balancing work and life and intentionally practicing self-care. Above all, I strive to lead with purpose, create space for representation, and leave a legacy of thriving rather than merely surviving.
