About Diana

Diana Romero serves as Team Lead at Ranger Technical Resources, a conservative staffing firm based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she oversees a team of approximately 10 recruiters across the United States, India, and Latin America. With eight years in the industry, she began her professional journey in Ecuador, her home country, working at a small software company before joining Job City in New York, where she specialized in technical recruitment for major clients including Google, Amazon, Disney, and others. As a psychologist by training, she leveraged her passion for technology and people to grow the company's database by 60 percent in her first year, earning an invitation to speak at Globand in the Team Lead category. Since relocating to the U.S., she has advanced rapidly at Ranger Technical Resources from recruiter to staff recruiter to her current leadership position, focusing on AI and software technology placements while building the firm's brand through client acquisition and industry visibility. Outside her role, Diana founded the largest engineering community in Ecuador and serves as an early lead member of Women That Build by Glovent, initiatives that reflect her commitment to increasing women's participation in STEM fields. She attributes her success to her family's work ethic, her humility, resilience, and relentless drive, values that also shape her people-first leadership style.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Diana

01What do you attribute your success to?

My family has always motivated me, seeing them work hard. I am a very humble person and a hustler who never gives up, with resilience to keep pushing even in challenging situations. This has helped me grow fast in my career.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Girl, it's going to look hard at the beginning with all these people who are like geniuses that work for Google, Amazon, Meta. But you'll get to a moment where you will talk on their level. Study a lot because knowledge is real power. Never give up, even if the first try doesn't give results. Technology is moving the world now.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Be humble, treat everyone at the same level with openness. Be passionate, kind, and honest. My leadership style focuses on people first rather than metrics or micromanagement. Honesty helps show who you are and achieve goals.
