Her Interview

Ten minutes with Diana

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my wonderful mentor Angela who taught me the ropes of care coordination, networking, and how to market myself. She showed me the loops and how networking with people inside other agencies leads to greater success. I also believe in faking it till you make it in the best ways, completing every duty before moving on, and killing people with kindness because smiles are contagious and can turn someone's day around.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received was fake it till you make it in all the best possible ways. When facing complex or difficult cases that make you feel defeated, you still have to complete your duty. Putting on a smile and killing them with kindness can turn someone's difficult day around because smiles are contagious.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't be scared to do what you know you're capable of.
