Diane Butterfield

An experienced educator with over three decades of service in teaching, literacy development, and educational leadership. They worked as a Reading Teacher in the Patchogue-Medford School District, supporting middle school literacy and leading summer literacy initiatives as a school principal. In addition, they served as a part-time professor at St. Joseph’s College of Education for Women for over a decade. Their career also includes teaching roles in the Fire Island and Eastport South Manor school districts, reflecting a longstanding commitment to reading instruction and student development.
