What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of experience, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning. I am an experienced leader with a proven track record of management across diverse industries, including chemical and industrial gases, nonprofit organizations, healthcare, and government. I am now seeking a long-term role where I can leverage my management and leadership expertise to drive meaningful impact.
I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and have developed strong skills in areas such as technical business management, product and project management, work process design, change management, business development, contract negotiation and management, consultative sales, event management, grant writing, reporting, and fundraising.
My tenure at Air Products and Chemicals was particularly formative, providing me with the foundational business management skills that I have continued to refine and apply throughout my career. Each subsequent role has allowed me to build on this foundation, strengthening my ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and deliver results.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to pursue STEM fields if you have any interest in science—don’t rule out engineering or other technical disciplines. These fields offer incredible opportunities to make an impact and open doors you might not have imagined.
If you find yourself in a male-dominated environment, I’ve found that using humor can be a powerful tool to connect with others and communicate your ideas effectively. It helps break down barriers, build rapport, and ensure your perspective is heard.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important values to me in both my work and personal life are curiosity, exploration, and connection. I have been fortunate to travel extensively around the world, and I value the freedom of traveling with an open mind and fewer plans—it allows me to truly explore and experience new cultures.
Equally important is spending quality time with my children and creating meaningful memories together. I also have a passion for photography, which allows me to capture the beauty and stories I encounter, and I find peace and inspiration at the beach, where I can recharge and reflect.
