Her Interview
Ten minutes with Dianette
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to God and my family. I have the support of my husband, my children, my mother, and my siblings. My faith in God is first, and then my family is definitely why I am successful.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I give is don't give up, keep going, be persistent. You can always continue to grow. I'm always learning, never be closed-minded to learning. You're constantly learning about life and your job. Always be willing to grow and be open-minded.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is the red tape in government work. You want to help so many families but are restrained by resources, money, and time. It's hard to do everything you want to do for the families and children.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My values are my faith, God is number one. Also integrity, trust, compassion, empathy, respect, and communication. These are important both at home and work, especially since I work with children and families and have children myself.
