Dianna Dumas

Dianna Dumas serves as National Director of Clinical Operations in the senior living industry based in Denton, Texas. She began her career in senior health in 2000 after working as a nurse for 36 years, starting as a floor nurse in memory care and advancing through the ranks. She has worked in problem facilities to help turn them around and has flown to different states to transport memory care residents back to Texas communities. In her current role, she holds morning meetings with the company owner, supports Director of Health Services leaders, reviews clinical information for prospective residents, writes policies and procedures, teaches staff including med techs, implements TEEPA snow training, and oversees a new company training school. Dianna is an LVN who is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and holds PAC certification. Her passion for senior care was inspired by caring for her ill grandmother, a nurse. She is involved with the Alzheimer's Association and has received the 2017 TALA Texas Assisted Living Nurse of the Year award along with multiple Employee of the Year honors at her company.
