Her Story
About Dianne
Dianne Cunningham is a transformational coach, speaker, author, and entrepreneur based in Dover, Delaware. She is the Co-Founder of uTransform360, where she helps individuals discover their purpose, build confidence, and create lives filled with greater intention, fulfillment, and joy. Through her work as a certified facilitator and coach, Dianne blends personal development, leadership principles, and spiritual growth to guide individuals through meaningful life transitions and help them recognize what is possible in the next chapter of their lives.
With nearly three decades of service at the New York City Transit Authority, including leadership roles as a Supervisor and Line Superintendent, Dianne brings extensive experience in leadership, operations, people management, and service. Throughout her career, she became known for her ability to lead people through challenging environments while creating solutions, developing others, and building strong relationships. That foundation continues to shape her approach today, with an emphasis on resilience, personal responsibility, service-oriented leadership, and the belief that transformation begins from within.
After retiring from transit, Dianne transitioned into entrepreneurship, channeling her leadership experience and life lessons into creating safe, empowering spaces where people can discover their voice, share their stories, and continue becoming who they were meant to be.
Today, through uTransform360, Dianne creates transformational experiences that include speaker platforms, retreats, coaching and personal-development programs, and publishing opportunities. Through Ascend Your Path, she provides a platform where emerging and experienced speakers can share their voices, while her anthology projects give individuals an opportunity to turn their lived experiences into stories that can inspire and impact others.
At the heart of Dianne’s work is a simple philosophy: people often have far more potential than they recognize in themselves. Whether she is coaching, speaking, mentoring, publishing, or building community, her work is centered on helping people move beyond uncertainty and limitation into greater clarity, confidence, purpose, and intentional action.
For Dianne, transformation is not about becoming someone else. It is about discovering, trusting, and stepping fully into the person you are becoming.

Ten minutes with Dianne
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute much of my success to the strong women who shaped my life. My mother was a trailblazer, and my grandmother, who learned to read in her 30s, taught me through her life the power of determination and perseverance. As the oldest girl, I took on responsibility early, which helped shape the leader I would become. Those experiences continue to inspire my biggest vision: creating a school in my grandmother’s honor where young people can develop practical skills while learning universal principles that empower them to understand that they are co-creators of their lives.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Listen to understand, not simply to respond, and never get too comfortable. Growth requires us to remain curious, open to learning, and willing to stretch beyond what we already know. Some of my greatest opportunities came when I was willing to step outside of what was familiar and expand into something more.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Go for it. Don’t wait until you have everything figured out or everything perfectly in place. Take the first step, because often the path becomes clearer once you begin moving. Be clear about what you want, stay open to opportunities, and seek guidance from people who have already walked the path. Surround yourself with a strong, supportive community, and most importantly, don’t give up. You don’t have to know every step—you just have to be willing to take the next one.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
There’s a lot of noise in the personal development space, and unfortunately, not everything is rooted in integrity. But I also see that as an opportunity. People are looking for what is real. Authenticity, consistency, and trust will always stand out. When you genuinely care about the people you serve and stay true to who you are, that speaks louder than the noise.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Service is at the heart of everything I do. I believe success is not only about what we accomplish, but also about the value we add to someone else’s life along the way. Trust and integrity are equally important to me, doing what you say you will do, treating people with respect, and being the same person whether anyone is watching or not. At the end of the day, I want people to feel that their lives were better because our paths crossed.
