Dianne Lorido is a purpose-led founder, global mentor, and youth and women’s empowerment advocate whose work spans cultures and continents. As the Founder of Trailblazr Global and a Women Techmakers Ambassador, she is dedicated to helping emerging leaders discover their purpose, build confidence, and rise with impact.

Her leadership journey began long before Trailblazr existed. Raised in the Philippines and shaped by her faith as a proud member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), Dianne learned early that leadership begins with service — with doing good whenever you possibly can.

For nearly a decade, she served as a Youth Mentor in the church, guiding children whose faith and dedication shaped her understanding of authentic leadership. Those years showed her how meaningful guidance and community can help emerging leaders build confidence and discover their gifts. This foundation of service inspired her to empower young people beyond her local community and eventually led to the creation of Trailblazr.

Even during her college years, Dianne lived out that calling. She founded the Dianne C. Lorido Leadership Scholarship, proving that impact doesn’t require titles — only compassion and willingness. Her dedication to service and leadership earned her the honor of being selected as the Commencement Speaker for her graduating class at San Diego Mesa College, where she inspired students with her message of confidence, purpose, and resilience.

Today, that heart-driven mission has grown into Trailblazr — a global mentorship and leadership platform with a vision to empower 10,000 emerging leaders. She is currently preparing to launch Trailblazr’s first Pilot Program in South Africa, working across cultures to spark confidence, courage, and purpose among youth and women.

As a Women Techmakers Ambassador, she also champions visibility and opportunity for women in technology and leadership spaces across the world.

Her journey continues across cultures and communities, always grounded in service and the desire to uplift others.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to purpose, faith, and the belief that leadership begins with service. As a member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), I was taught to do good whenever I possibly can — and that principle shaped every step of my journey. From mentoring youth in the church, to creating my first scholarship in college, to launching Trailblazr across continents, my path has always been guided by the desire to uplift others.

I’ve learned that leadership is not about being the most experienced or the most ready — it’s about being willing. When you lead with intention and faith, doors open not just for you, but for everyone you’re meant to serve.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I ever received was: ‘Don’t wait until you feel ready to lead.’

Launching Trailblazr taught me that leadership isn’t about having every answer — it’s about having the courage to start. Each bold step created clarity, momentum, and confidence. That mindset still shapes everything I build.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice is this: lead with who you are — fully, boldly, and without apology. Your ideas, your culture, your faith, and your story are not things to shrink; they’re the foundation of your leadership. Seek mentors who lift you, ask brave questions, and allow yourself to grow in public. Confidence doesn’t come first — courage does. And with courage, clarity follows.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The greatest challenge is accessibility — too many young people lack mentors, safe spaces, or belief in their own potential. But this challenge is also our greatest opportunity.

We’re in a global moment where purpose-driven leadership matters more than ever. With technology, cross-cultural connection, and community-centered mentorship, we can create opportunities for youth and women who might have otherwise been overlooked.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that ground me are purpose, courage, service, and faith. My membership in the Church Of Christ taught me that leadership is not about position — it’s about impact, humility, and doing good whenever you can. I also value compassion, integrity, and community. Wherever I go, I hope to leave people feeling seen, lifted, and empowered.
