Her Interview
Ten minutes with Dijana
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to remaining authentic, staying curious, and never pretending to know everything. I make a conscious effort to observe, ask questions, and continuously learn from the people and experiences around me. I believe both formal education and practical experience have shaped my career, and I view every challenge and failure as an opportunity to grow rather than a setback. My willingness to adapt, remain open-minded, and keep learning has been the foundation of my personal and professional success.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Never stop learning, remain authentic, and don't be afraid to admit when you don't know something. Growth comes from curiosity, humility, and a willingness to continually expand your knowledge.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice is to be confident enough to test your knowledge and skills without fear of failure. Don't underestimate yourself or dismiss opportunities before giving them a chance. Sometimes the abilities that define your career are discovered only after you're willing to try something new. Every experience teaches you something valuable, and if one path doesn't work out, it simply means there is another opportunity better suited to your strengths. Keep learning, remain open to growth, and never let self-doubt stop you from pursuing your goals.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The rapid evolution of artificial intelligence and information technology presents both significant challenges and exciting opportunities. Success requires a commitment to continuous learning, adaptability, and embracing new technologies that improve the way organizations operate. Those who remain curious, develop new skills, and leverage innovation will be well positioned to make meaningful contributions and create lasting impact.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, honesty, empathy, authenticity, curiosity, respect, lifelong learning, open communication, and strong character are the values that guide everything I do. I believe in being truthful, treating people with compassion, listening before making judgments, and never pretending to be someone I'm not. I value humility, helping others, and maintaining open communication, while continually striving to learn, improve, and lead with sincerity and respect.
