Her Story

About Dimple

I started in India, gained experience in the UK healthcare industry as a recruiter, and recently moved to the United States. During COVID, I achieved the highest billing, received special recognition, and an early promotion by understanding healthcare professionals' needs and building relationships with candidates including nurses, doctors, and healthcare assistants. Now at Workonomics in Colorado Springs, I focus on business development through prospecting, networking at events like ribbon cuttings, and generating revenue via sales and government contracts.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Dimple

01What do you attribute your success to?

My success comes from discipline, having worked from home or office while knowing my goals and pursuing them. My career path from India to UK to United States, along with support from my husband who is in the military, has shaped this.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

My first boss, a woman, advised me to adapt quickly to change, whether new technology, challenges, or tasks, to really grow in my career.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Believe in yourself in a way that nothing can shake you, but also be humble, try to learn new things, and help women.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Artificial intelligence is both a challenge and opportunity as a new skill to learn that every company will need. A challenge is the slowdown in staffing since summer 2023, with hiring rates dropping significantly, for example from 60,000 to 2,000 in New York.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Empathy, integrity, and humanity. As someone in staffing who speaks with candidates and clients, I always try to understand their needs with empathy and believe we all have to be kind to each other.
