Dionne Washington

I am the founder of Love Coverage and currently serve as the main coach. I'm responsible for creating curriculum, developing content, and delivering programs and individual coaching sessions. I primarily work with divorced women ages 35 to 55 who desire to remarry. While most of my work is delivered virtually through Zoom calls and online communities, I also offer in-person retreats and VIP days. I attended Morgan State University, a historically black university (HBCU) in Baltimore, Maryland, where I studied communications with a concentration in public relations. Initially, I was thinking about being in the entertainment industry, maybe on TV doing interviews, but I have always been the go-to person for relationship advice no matter where I was. I decided to get formal education in coaching and became certified in Prepare and Enrich, a coaching program targeted towards premarital preparation. I really wanted to focus on helping couples prepare so they could stay married and have a thriving marriage, not just being married for the sake of it. However, I got married myself and did not do all the things I knew to do through training, and I went through a divorce. This journey makes me uniquely qualified because I've been married, I've been divorced, and I've remarried well. I know the things that cause or make divorce inevitable, I know how to prepare, and I give other women hope when they're defeated after divorce. I've been published in a few local publications in Dallas and authored a book called 'Break Up Now, Releasing the Shame of Divorce and Finding the Peace and Letting Go,' which has an accompanying guided journal to help people work through the book.
