Divya Baddela serves as founder and CEO of D Media Makers, an Atlanta-based advertising and media company. After working as an IT leader in the industry for nearly 13 years, she chose to pursue entrepreneurship despite financial challenges, starting her company with a vision to make film and media production more cost-effective through technology. She holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from S3 University and a master's in computer applications from Bangalore University. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Java developer for a Saffron Aerospace company, contributing to cockpit coding for flights. Baddela has grown D Media Makers to include around 25 employees in the USA and 15 in other countries, adopting AI to produce films and ads that run in theaters and across social media. She is passionate about encouraging new talent in the film industry by providing opportunities to work with AI technologies from home. Baddela is grateful for the work authorization provided by the U.S. government, which enabled her to fulfill her entrepreneurial dreams after relocating to the USA with her husband.
