Her Interview

Ten minutes with Divya

01What do you attribute your success to?

My mom always emphasized that women should be independent and own a place before marriage. My husband encouraged me to continue working and publishing after marriage. I want to be a role model for my daughter.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be creative, optimistic, and support your peers. Don't listen to people who say to lay back after having a kid. Concentrate on your career along with family. Passion gives you self-respect and recognition beyond being just a mom or wife. Do something that makes a difference like painting, crafting, or teaching.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Challenges: Women not given equal chances due to medical conditions or after having a baby. Opportunities: Working on a German utility patent for an AI framework to help industries and build a product-based service company.
