About Dominique
Dominique Frank is a business development and sales professional currently serving as a Senior Business Development Representative at Origami Risk. She has experience in B2B sales, prospecting, solution selling, account management, and healthcare services. She started in tech sales in June 2024 after working in door-to-door sales and previously holding roles such as patient service representative with an internship in 2023. She double majored in marketing and business management. Dominique attributes her success to her drive and determination, values integrity along with kindness and compassion in her work, and advises young women entering the industry to be patient with themselves and stay focused on their goals.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My drive. I’m a very determined person, and I don’t take no for an answer easily. When I set my mind on something, I’m going to find a way to achieve it. The path might not always look the way I originally imagined, but I’ll keep going until I reach that end goal. I think that determination has helped me create opportunities for myself and get into rooms I might not have gotten into otherwise.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be patient with yourself and don’t get discouraged. It can be really hard in the beginning, especially in an industry that can be so volatile. Keep your head on your shoulders, stay focused on what you want to achieve, and give yourself room to learn along the way. If you stay persistent and keep moving toward what you want, it’s absolutely doable, and it does get easier.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity is really important to me, both personally and professionally. I also value kindness and compassion. I think those qualities can take you much further than people sometimes realize, especially in your career. As a woman of color, I’ve learned the importance of showing up authentically, staying true to who I am, and treating people well. When you lead with integrity and kindness, people see that, and they remember who you are.
