Dominique Pacheco is an accomplished Advertising Account Manager with over 18 years of experience in the marketing and media industry, specializing in multi-channel advertising strategies, client relationship management, and business development. Currently serving as an Account Manager with THM Media™, she has built a reputation for delivering results-driven campaigns across print, digital, radio, and television platforms. Her comprehensive understanding of the advertising landscape allows her to create tailored solutions that help businesses effectively connect with their target audiences and achieve measurable growth.
Dominique began her career with a strong foundation in journalism and public relations after earning her degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. Initially exploring opportunities in political campaigns and public relations, she discovered her passion for media strategy and client engagement while working with law firms and expanding into media buying. This transition led her into a successful advertising career, where she has consistently demonstrated her ability to cultivate long-term client relationships, drive revenue growth, and execute innovative marketing strategies. Her professional excellence has been recognized with honors such as the USA Today President’s Circle Award and the Woman of Achievement Award.
Known for her creativity, tenacity, and perseverance, Dominique is deeply committed to both her professional and personal communities. She actively participates in industry organizations such as the American Advertising Federation and maintains strong ties with her alma mater through the Reynolds School of Journalism Alumni Association. Beyond her career, she contributes her time to philanthropic initiatives, serving as a PTO Vice President and supporting nonprofit events. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my creativity, tenacity, and perseverance. These qualities have allowed me to stay resilient, think strategically, and continuously find innovative ways to deliver results for my clients and grow within the advertising industry.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say that success in this industry requires hard work, but it truly pays off. One of the greatest advantages of a background in journalism or communications is its versatility—you are not limited to one path. You can pursue careers in advertising, public relations, television, and more. There are very few limitations if you are willing to put in the effort. With dedication, creativity, and persistence, you can shape your career into whatever you want it to be.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value creativity, perseverance, and strong relationship-building both professionally and personally. I believe in maintaining meaningful connections with clients, colleagues, and my community. I also prioritize family and community involvement, which play an important role in keeping me grounded and motivated in both my career and personal life.
