Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a commitment to service and hands-on support, finding fulfillment in helping others grow in confidence and independence, both in my community and in the individuals I serve.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women entering this field to persist and keep pushing through exhaustion, because true mental strength and inner resolve grow when physical energy is gone. Anything is possible if you stay committed and keep moving forward, even when it feels like you have nothing left.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges in my field are securing adequate staffing and encouraging others to embrace and carry forward a long-term vision. At the same time, the underserviced market for adult programming presents a significant opportunity to create innovative, community-based offerings.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are service, advocacy, community inclusion, and devotion to family. Having fostered over 26 children, my life reflects a consistent commitment to helping others thrive and supporting those in need.
