Donna Long

Donna Long is a sales and business development professional with over 30 years of experience primarily in the staffing industry. She began her career in sales after being recruited from Sprint and quickly advanced to branch manager, where she grew a team to over 400 consultants on payroll with a staff of 15 while managing her own P&Ls as a multi-million dollar profit center. After 12 years at AdTech, part of the ACT1 group of companies, she was laid off during COVID and briefly helped establish HR policies for a quantum computing startup called WINS before returning to staffing roles. She now works remotely as a Sales Associate at Trellis Energy, focusing on client acquisition for B2B marketplace solutions in the energy sector. As a single mother, she pursued education by starting in nursing at junior college before switching to business and sales courses at a regional center near KU in the Overland Park area, ultimately raising two successful sons with strong values and integrity.
