01What do you attribute your success to?

My success can be attributed to self-determination, motivation, perseverance, and the strong sense of self-reliance instilled in me by my God-fearing parents. They emphasized the importance of earning every opportunity through hard work and remaining committed to the process, regardless of the time required. Starting my career in an entry-level role and gradually working my way into leadership has further reinforced the value of persistence, resilience, and continuous personal growth.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve learned through my career is to trust the process, stay committed, and never expect advancement to happen overnight. Becoming an effective leader requires patience, experience, and a willingness to continuously learn. Each role offers valuable lessons that prepare you for greater responsibilities, so it’s crucial to embrace each stage of your professional journey.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage young women to stay committed to their goals and never hesitate to start from the ground level if that’s where the opportunity begins. Be transparent about your career aspirations, seek out mentors who genuinely want to help you succeed, and remain open to learning every aspect of the business. Advancement may take time, but with perseverance, dedication, and a strong work ethic, your efforts will be recognized. Continue investing in yourself and don’t become discouraged by temporary setbacks.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The automotive industry presents rapid growth opportunities for individuals aspiring to become Controllers or leaders. These opportunities should inspire and present a significant chance for professionals who are willing to enhance their skills, embrace responsibility, and seek leadership roles. In my opinion, mentorship plays a crucial role in helping individuals build confidence, accelerate their development, and prepare for long-term success within the industry.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, loyalty, leadership, religious beliefs, my culture, and respect are the cornerstones that guide my professional and personal life. I firmly believe in transparency, accountability, and creating an environment that nurtures and supports individuals’ growth. As a leader, I am deeply passionate about mentoring others, helping them unlock their full potential, and empowering them to seize opportunities that will not only elevate their careers but also contribute to their personal development.
