Her Story

About Dorothy

Dorothy Jolly is a Certified Behavior Technician and psychology major at Western Governors University with a strong dedication to evidence-based behavioral health practices. She currently works as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician), providing one-on-one support to children with autism, focusing on key areas such as potty training, functional communication, and skill acquisition. Drawing on her lived experience with autism, Dorothy brings authentic understanding and compassion to her work, creating meaningful, positive impacts for both the children she serves and their families.

As the executive director and founder of NeuroVoices Network, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting neurodiverse adults, Dorothy leads initiatives that foster inclusion, empowerment, and mutual support. Since launching in June, the organization has held weekly meetings in partnership with a local nonprofit and is actively growing its membership through social media, community engagement, and local media outreach. NeuroVoices Network is also collaborating with the city to establish a Neurodiverse Awareness Week, aimed at advocating for neurodiverse individuals and increasing public understanding of their needs.

Dorothy’s professional focus combines direct behavioral support, program development, and community advocacy. Her expertise in autism, combined with her passion for fostering inclusive spaces, drives her commitment to creating communities where neurodivergent adults are valued, supported, and empowered to thrive. She continues to advance her knowledge in psychology while expanding the reach and impact of NeuroVoices Network, building programs that educate, connect, and celebrate neurodiversity.
