She spent the majority of her career with Capital Group, where she served as Vice President of National Accounts and National Key Account Manager. In these roles, Dorothy managed strategic relationships with major financial institutions, including Bank of America, UBS, and Morgan Stanley, while leading initiatives in national sales, marketing, product development, and financial distribution. Her expertise in building client partnerships, developing customized business strategies, and expanding investment solutions across wealth management, retirement, and private banking sectors contributed to sustained business growth and institutional success.

Throughout her career, Dorothy was recognized for her strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to delivering exceptional service. She also volunteers regularly at a women’s shelter in Asbury, continuing her lifelong dedication to helping others. Dorothy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Finance from Saint Joseph’s University and a Master’s Degree in World War II Studies from Arizona State University. I attribute my success to my strong work ethic, determination, and commitment to excellence. Throughout my career, I focused on continuously improving myself, staying prepared, and bringing a high level of dedication to everything I pursued. I never allowed obstacles or limitations to stand in my way, and I challenged myself to be smarter, faster, and stronger than my competition while maintaining integrity and respect for those around me. Building trust, delivering results, and remaining committed to my values have been the foundation of my professional success.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the finance industry is to believe in themselves, remain confident, and never allow others to define their potential or limit their success. Challenges and setbacks are part of any career journey, but it is important to stay focused, maintain resilience, and continue pursuing your goals with determination. Do not let others get the best of you; trust your abilities, stand firm in your values, and remember that your hard work and dedication will create opportunities for growth and success.

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are ethics, integrity, and respect for others. I believe in treating people with kindness, fairness, and consideration, always following the principle of doing unto others as I would want done for myself.
