What do you attribute your success to?
Influential Leadership
One of my strengths that I’m most proud of is my people skills. It seems I can positively motivate people. As an HR professional, manager, and leader of my staff, it is pertinent to lead by example, encourage, and inspire my team. It is important that I walk the walk and talk the talk. People respect what they can see, hear, and touch. I make it a point to be a woman of my word. I am intentional about what I do. I mean what I say, and I say what I mean. When my staff sees me, I want them to see confidence, leadership, trust, and inspiration. I take my role as an HR Office Manager seriously. I keep motivational and inspirational plaques and pictures up in my office to encourage those people around me. I want them to be motivated and inspired to take the higher road and strive for excellence. I pride myself on conflict resolution, relationship building, and mentoring to enhance people's professional careers. When conflict arises, I encourage my staff to take the higher road. I encourage my team to do random acts of kindness because you never know what someone is going through. I am also a believer in teamwork because it truly makes the dream work. We all have the same goals in mind. Success in my office means we all work together as a unit. We all win, or we all lose together!
