Her Story

About Dr. Leena

I am currently serving as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Ethnopharmacology (Elsevier) and as a Review Editor for the Anti-Cancer Drugs specialty of Frontiers in Pharmacology, as well as for MDPI journals including Metabolites, Nutraceuticals, Pharmacy, and Spectroscopy. Across these roles, I oversee and contribute to rigorous peer review processes, critically evaluating manuscripts for methodological soundness, scientific impact, originality, and relevance in areas spanning natural products, traditional medicine, oncology pharmacotherapy, pharmacology, and analytical sciences. Leveraging my postdoctoral-level expertise in cancer drug discovery, bioanalytical method development, pharmacognosy, and natural product standardization, I coordinate with expert reviewers, manage review workflows, and collaborate with authors and editors to uphold high standards of scientific quality, integrity, and ethical publication, while remaining actively engaged with emerging developments in the field.
