Dr. Valerie Murphy

Dr. Valerie Murphy serves as a Senior Business Analyst for a manufacturing company, where she has spent the majority of her over 30-year career analyzing systems and implementing solutions. She holds a doctoral degree, an MBA with a concentration in project management, and a Bachelor of Science degree. Murphy is also pursuing SAP certification and is certified in emotional EQ. Beyond her primary role, she engages in certified coaching through ICS, emphasizing emotional intelligence and emotional agility to help leaders navigate their careers. She is the author of the recently published book Clarity, Courage, and Connection, which explores emotional mastery, self-efficacy, grit, and effective leadership. Murphy is a member of Women in Technology, the Project Management Institute, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated, and the NAACP. Her notable achievements include induction into the Hall of Fame for basketball in 2019 as a collegiate athlete and being a first-generation graduate. She actively participates in mentoring programs, community service, and initiatives to educate millennials on voter engagement through her business, KE Pathways.
