Dr. Nina Lane

Nina Lane earned her master's in social work in 2017 and has worked in the field since then. She began her career as a community-based therapist working with children on probation and their families, providing multi-systematic therapy, court reports, and support with community activities. After moving to Arizona, she gained experience in a psychiatric hospital during COVID, then returned to Georgia to work as a school-based therapist for elementary through high school students. She later served as a travel social worker in a medical hospital and has been in medical social work at DaVita since 2022. Currently, she works as a behavior health assessor at a local hospital in Atlanta, conducting assessments for involuntary holds or outpatient services during 12-hour shifts. In addition, Nina started her own social work consulting business at the beginning of the year, offering mentoring, coaching, resume assistance, and hosting monthly networking events. She recently earned her doctorate in social work, which she considers her most notable achievement, and plans to expand her business into public speaking, workshops, and university teaching.
