Her Story
About Dr. Rhonda
Dr. Rhonda Huff is a neurologically-focused Doctor of Chiropractic, author, speaker, personal trainer, and holistic health coach based in Williamsburg, Virginia. As owner of Harmonized Neurology Family Chiropractic, she dedicates her practice to helping children and families uncover what may be happening beneath symptoms such as ADHD, anxiety, sensory overwhelm, autism, and seizures by examining how the brain and nervous system respond to stress. Her approach centers on drug-free, root-cause care designed to support regulation, resilience, sleep, digestion, focus, and behavior, while she continues to extend the same nervous-system-first philosophy to adult patients managing brain fog, Parkinson's disease, MS, and other chronic conditions.
With more than four decades of experience across health, fitness, rehabilitation, and human performance, Dr. Huff's path to chiropractic care followed an earlier career built on athletics, bodybuilding, fitness instruction, and ownership of a wellness center that integrated functional medicine with complementary practitioners. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree Summa Cum Laude from Life University, holds an M.Ed. in Education from Regent University, and completed a B.S. in Fitness/Wellness with a concentration in post-rehabilitation and injury prevention from the University of Central Missouri. She has also maintained her ACE Fitness certification as a Personal Trainer and Medical Exercise Specialist since 1988, reflecting a career built on continual learning and evolving expertise.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Huff is a published author of several works, including "Healthy Living from A to Z" and "The Addictive Personal Trainer," along with the e-book "Beyond Behavior," and has co-authored compilations in the internationally bestselling Business Life Universe series. She is a frequent speaker on wellness topics, having presented to organizations such as Macy's, Nike, and Bank of America, with an upcoming engagement at Columbia University. Guided by her faith and a deep commitment to curiosity and root-cause thinking, Dr. Huff encourages the next generation of practitioners to question conventional wisdom, pursue independent research, and never stop striving toward a deeper understanding of health and healing.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Dr. Rhonda
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success entirely to God. He has led every step of my journey, even the steps I didn't want to take and the challenges I didn't want to go through.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell them not to take anyone's word for it and to do their own research, including looking at studies from other countries, since much of the research in this country is funded by pharmaceutical companies. I encourage them to stay curious, never settle, never accept the status quo, and always look for the next level of understanding.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges I see is the medicalization of care and an insurance-driven, pain-focused model that doesn't fully support nervous-system-focused work. At the same time, I see a real opportunity to prevent disease by focusing on pediatric nervous-system health and addressing root causes early on.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Faith, curiosity, and persistence are central to who I am. I remain deeply committed to root-cause care and to helping children and families thrive.
