Ten minutes with Dr

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My best advice for the younger generation, younger women, is to seek leaders that are doing what you want to do. And ask questions. You don't know unless you ask questions, and then, you know, seek them as mentors, or, you know, or something like that, because you won't know what the next step is. Start networking yourself at a young age. I really talked to a lot of my students and say, find the volunteer networking events. How can you volunteer? How can you network yourself in front of these leaders? Because when they have an opportunity, they're going to remember you.

02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

God first, family second, and my career third. Even though I sound very busy, for me, my family is really important, and we love to travel.
