Her Story

About Dr Alizé

My entrepreneurial journey began after realizing that my work and contributions were not receiving the recognition they deserved while working in the media industry. At that moment, I made the decision to take a leap of faith, leave my position, and build something of my own.

I launched AlizéLaVie, a global media positioning company where I serve as Founder and CEO. As the decision-maker behind the platform, I lead and coordinate an international team operating across multiple time zones, from India to France to the United States. My daily routine often begins as early as 5 a.m., managing operations, reviewing ongoing projects, connecting with clients, and working closely with my marketing team to oversee strategy, branding, and global positioning.

Over the years, I have expanded my vision beyond media into renewable energy and sustainable development, with the goal of building a diversified international conglomerate with multiple branches. For more than 15 years, I have operated globally while developing strategic partnerships, impactful initiatives, and cross-industry projects.

Ten minutes with Dr Alizé

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my ability to think differently and position myself in a way that stands out. From the beginning, I always wanted to build something beyond the traditional model by thinking outside the box and creating a global vision for my brand and company.

Through AlizéLaVie, my magazine and media platform, I have been able to connect with people from different parts of the world and build an international presence. One of my greatest advantages is being multilingual and culturally adaptable. Because I speak different languages and interact globally, I naturally attract clients and audiences from diverse cultural backgrounds across Europe, the United States, Africa, the Caribbean, and beyond.

I believe my international mindset gives me a unique edge. I am not limited to one market or one perspective — I understand how to communicate, connect, and build relationships across cultures, which has played a major role in my growth and success as an entrepreneur.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of the best pieces of career advice I’ve ever received was to make sure I am surrounded by the right people. Success is not only dependent on your vision and hard work, but also on the environment and people around you. If you are surrounded by the wrong individuals, it can limit your growth and prevent you from reaching your full potential.

As entrepreneurs and leaders, we are building not only businesses, but also a legacy. That’s why it is so important to have people around you who inspire growth, bring value, and genuinely want to see you succeed.

Another important lesson I’ve learned is the value of humility. Never be afraid to ask for help or seek advice from people who have more experience and have already walked the path before you. Learning from others can help you grow faster, avoid unnecessary mistakes, and make wiser decisions throughout your journey.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to always give the best of yourself and strive for excellence in everything you do. It doesn’t matter if you are new in business — what matters is how you present yourself, how you communicate your value, and how you position yourself in a way that stands out.

The reality is that the world is not automatically looking for you, so you must find a way to be different and memorable. Success is not based only on degrees or credentials. What truly makes the difference is your ability to bring something unique to the table and create your own identity.

Today, there are many entrepreneurs, especially women entrepreneurs, which makes it even more important to stand out from the crowd. Don’t be afraid to think differently, innovate, and create your own lane. Bring something fresh, authentic, and impactful that sets you apart from what everyone else is doing.

Most importantly, never settle for being average. Dare to be extraordinary.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is managing growth while maintaining excellence and consistency. As an entrepreneur and leader, there are moments when I feel overwhelmed because I carry a great deal of responsibility, not only for the vision of the company, but also for the people who are part of it.

One challenge I often face is making sure that the work is executed properly and at a high standard. It’s not about micromanaging, but about ensuring quality, accountability, and professionalism across the team. When you invest time training people and building a company, you want to make sure everyone understands the vision and delivers the work with the same level of commitment and excellence.

Human resources and team management can also be challenging at times, especially when leading an international operation across different time zones and cultures. In addition, entrepreneurship comes with financial responsibilities. I constantly have to make sure the company remains financially stable, profitable, and able to support operations while ensuring that everyone gets paid on time.

At the same time, these challenges also create opportunities for growth, leadership, and learning. They push me to become more strategic, more disciplined, and more focused on building a strong and sustainable organization for the future.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, excellence, discipline, loyalty, humility, and purpose. I believe that success means nothing if it is not built on honesty, respect, and strong values.

Excellence is very important to me because I always strive to give the best of myself in everything I do. I believe in maintaining high standards, whether in business, leadership, communication, or the way I represent my brand and vision. Discipline is also a major part of my life. Operating globally across different industries and time zones requires consistency, structure, and commitment every single day.

I also deeply value loyalty and surrounding myself with people who genuinely want to grow together and support one another. In both business and personal relationships, I believe trust and positive energy are essential.

Another important value for me is humility. No matter how much success someone achieves, there is always more to learn. I believe in listening, evolving, and staying open to guidance and wisdom from others.

Most importantly, I believe in purpose-driven work. I want my projects and platforms to create impact, inspire others, empower communities, and leave a meaningful legacy beyond business success alone.
