About Dr. Carolyn
Dr. Carolyn Skinner serves as a Chaplain Evangelist, writer, and minister in Memphis, Tennessee. She earned her associate's degree from Thornton Community College, bachelor's in social work from Governor's State University, master's in social work from Reed University, and a master's in business administration in social work and human service administration. She is ordained as a chaplain through Christian Leaders College where she is pursuing a bachelor's in chaplaincy. Her professional experience includes teaching English and reading to students from preschool through high school, working as a social worker, and owning a general construction business with her mother. Dr. Skinner is actively involved in community service as part of the Memphis Police Clergy crisis response team, mentors young single mothers, and is establishing the Raymond James Bam Bam Foundation to support ministry efforts in the community. She is also a member of Old Landmark Church of God, Holiness in Christ, and maintains ties to her home church in Chicago under Apostle Paul Grant.
