Dr. Charlese Brown

I have dedicated 35 years to the education field, and I'm currently taking a semi-retirement until I can get back into the education system. During this time, I've been speaking at conferences such as the American Association for Colleges of Teacher Education, where I spoke last month. The focus of my work is on improving teacher quality and recruiting and retaining teachers. Throughout my education career, I've developed innovative approaches to identifying people who would be good teachers before they even enter college, and I've also created methods for retaining good teachers once they're in the classroom. I've written two books on these subjects. My focal point is to identify people who are natural teachers, and then groom them to fit the particular system of the school and meet state requirements. I work on giving them the framework of being in the classroom while refining and fine-tuning their natural abilities to teach.
